Tools for delivering publisher tasks between environments

Hello,

I want to know if there is any tool to deliver tasks between environments. i talk about tasks that we create and schedule with publisher.

i need that to migrate existant applications to a new platform. so i want to know if there is a tool that i can use to import created tasks into the new platform without to have to create it again.

You can import tasks from another publisher by using the remote management option or you can move the entire QVPR with all tasks included.

Not to pimp my own ideas but I recently created one about having the ability to import/export tasks as XMLs, hopefully QT will consider this idea for future versions http://community.qlik.com/ideas/1832

Hello Daniel,

I am also doing something similar and wanted to add that you can not use the Remote Management option when moving jobs between a V10 system and V11 - like in an upgrade situation.

Moving between a V10 test and V10 live or V11 test and V11 live should be no problem.

Unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be any help in the V11 server manual, but it is listed in the V10 manual.
