LoadBalancer.xml - Could not create lock

Hello all,

From time to time I’m getting this error

Error LoadBalancer.xml:LockFileDeletedEvent failed.. Exception=System.Exception: Could not create lock

atSolutionGlobal.ClusterFile.ClusterFileLock..ctor(ILogBucket i_LogBucket, Stringi_FileName, FileAccess i_FileAccess, Action`1 i_XmlWriterDelegate)

atSolutionGlobal.ClusterFile.CreateReaderLock()

I suspect that this cause the “distribution service” todisconnect.

Are you familiar with this case?

Any suggestions how this can be fixed/overcome?

Are you using clustering for Publisher?

there are known issues around file locking when using SAN or NAS for cluster shared storage. files shared by the cluster must be stored on a windows local disk.
