QV 10 - QV 11 Server

Hi Guys,

We have existing QV10 Server and is working properly to date.

A new server has been setup and will become the new server for QV11.

I'm done installing the QV11 on the new machine but when I open the management console the status of QVS@servername is "Off Duty".

Also, I can't find the Enterprise Management Console from QlikView programs.

Can I run two servers (QV10 and QV11) residing on different box using same license?

This is my first time to install server, I would very much appreciate your help on this.

Hello Skip,

Sorry no you cannot run both at the same time, unless you have purchased theCluster option on your server licence.

What procedure can you suggest me to minimize my downtime in migrating to QV11?

There is an upgrade document on the community which is very good, search for'upgrade' and it’s the first results.
