Hi, How do you make certain user to only see certain pages(sheets)? e.g User1 - User10 only see sheet1 and User11 - User 15 sees sheet2. reading the users from the excel file.

what are the password for user1 - user5, I see the Admin user can access all other sheets but I wanted to check if the other users can only view the sheets they are supose to view.

and the other thing, using the excel file, shuold my column looks like this so that I can assign the sheets in which the user has to view?

ACCESS, USERID, PASSWORD, SHEETID

ADMIN, ADMIN, 1, *

USER, USER1, 1, SH01

sorry i forgot to give you hidden script password

file menu -> edit hiden scrpt- 123 ok will show you code for section access.

from there you can see all the userid and password.

same thing you can implement in excel also

Thanks I managed to view the hiden script.

I was trying to load the data to assign the sheets to users but the users always view all the sheets when i test my model, can you please send me an example where the users are assigned the sheets from the excel file if posible?

Unfortunatley i cannot manage to get it working.

one option you need to check

document properties-> opening->Initial data reduction based on section access->chck it

I used the groups to show which user has to access which page(sheet) on this example each user has to access one sheet!
