Hy,

I could connect with custom user from Qlikview Desktop?

I use DMS security.

When try to connect from "Log on as specified user" I get error:

"Connected to Server OK, No reply received Switching to HTTP tunneling Connected to server OK, Negotiations Timed Out".

Use name of yo "custom directory"/"user" to login.

1. I have port 4747 open.. test tunnel it's work with

http://server/scripts/qvstunnel.dll?test .... returns <HTML><HEAD></HEAD></HTML>

Or how I can test port 4747?!

QlikView desktop client cannot lease a license from QlikView Server when the server is running in DMS security mode and Custom directory is the only directory resource configured.
It is mentioned at the release notes on page 7.
Refer to attached release notes.

There is a workaround for leasing a license from the QlikView Server when running in DMS security. When you log into AccessPoint and open a document with the IE plugin, you also obtain a license lease for QlikView Desktop.

Oh No ! i already applied it to our new production server.. it's disaster..

is there any chance to lease license ?
