Automatic document reload after a failure

Hello, I have got a new request and I wonder if someone faced it before. Basically my goal is to automatically reload a document after the document itself fails. The document queries a remote DB and often the connection drops hence the document fails.

Just to add something more, this process need to attempt the reload in a fixed window time: let say everyday from 6 am to 9 am with 10 minutes interval (the document takes about 30 mins to reload).

I have not publisher so I can only use the functionalities of management console.

Every suggestion is highly welcome!

Option 1:

In QEMC, goto Documents, Select QVD/QVW, and edit the reload task, goto trigger subtab,

you will see an option Number of tries default as 1

change it to desired number.

Option 2:

Select the document in Documents tab, crate another task and in trigger sub tab,

Start the task: on event from another task

Select the qvd/qvw

condition as : on reload failure

Hi, I believe option1 it will be only available if you have publisher, according to this thread:

Hello Erich, you're right: that option is only available with Publisher. Also thank you for the link, the question is the same I asked, I didn't find that article before.
