Hi,

is there an easy and robust way to send an email everytime somebody opens a new document on a QV Server (10R4 or more) ?

does it work correctly if a macro is used ? and if so, on which event ?

or is there a better, more integrated way to do that ?

Thanks

Very nice idea, i had started developping a macro but an alert is better

but how can i define the email settings (SMTP etc) for an alert which is launched from a server ?

in the user settings ? or in the Mail settings of the server ?

It doesn't seem to send anything. Should i use Batch or Interactive mode in a Server mode ?

Thanks
