Annual Maintenance Cost & Subscription Cost

Dear All,

I have evaluated the QlikView license, but I want to know is there any annual maintenance cost / subscription cost be paid?! Because I should have a budget plan for my boss

And if exists, what is the total of subscription cost, is it a fixed price or total according to the total license, and free for starting year?

The standard annual Support and Maintenance fee is 20% of your original purchase price. This entitles you to support for the current and previous version, as well as access to version upgrades.

You can forego paying these fees, but you would have to pay any delinquent back fees prior to any upgrade.

It's easier to get the cheapest cost up front, because it has a long lasting impact.

What if I buy more user cals before renewal? I have to pay the 20% Maintenance fee for the new cals? When I have to renew, I have to pay the 20% only for the original purchase?

Best bet is to contact your sales contact for a definitive answer.

My assumption is, that you would pay a pro-rated maintenance fee for the CALs you purchase. This would allow you to make a single yearly payment going forward with all licenses in sync.

Let us know what you find out.
