QMEC and Accesspoint

Hi All,

I am new user to qlikview.. I had some handon practice on qlikview desktop to develop dashboards and reports.

Now i got qlikview server setup from client. and need to deploy my applications on the server and access point..

Can any body tell me how to deploy the dashboard on the server and what are the use of QMEC and Access Point.

Please help me i am totaly confused..

Hi, Sushil.

The access point is the portal where you can see all the available applications to open it.

The regular address is

http//yourServerIP/QlikView

The QEMC is your QlikView Enterprise Management Console. The place where you config your QlikView Server.

The address usually is:

To open it, your user must be part of the "QlikView Administrators Group"

There, you can set your Root Folder which is the QV server will locate your .qvw to distribute them.

After this, any file you want to be accessed throught the server must be copied to this folder.

At the documents page (inside QEMC) you set reload tasks on the server for each .qvw

Thanks Erich... Is there any document for the process flow of making a dashboard to Publish on Access Point?

Please provide if any, that will help me alot...
