Accesspoint URL does not show

Hello,

We installed the Version 10 server edition. Everything went well. I tested Accesspoint on the server using http://localhost/qlikview and it worked fine. However, the URL does not work outside the server. It gives me a "Page Not Found". We have made sure 4747 is open. What am I missing? Is it anything to do with the fact that the server has a 10.x.x.x IP Address? I can ping the server successfully though.

hi Amit,

When you trying to access qlikview application from Remote machine you need to type

http:\\IP address of server\Qlikview

eg:

http:\\172.202.2.123\Qlikview

I am not trying to access it remotely. I am in the network. But anyways, I tried it both ways, using the server name as well as the URL.

could you connect to http://servername:4780/qmc ??

If on server2008, port 80 should be open.

Dirk,

That was exactly the reason you mentioned. We were able to figure that out yesterday. I was assuming that port 80 is open by default once you have the web server installed.
