Hi,

I have installed a qlikview small business server and I have a problem.

When I start Qlikview Management Console the service Distribution Service will not start.

Also when I start this service in the service console in windows it will not start.

I get an error 1067.

When I look in the LOG file there is something like this:

In SBM there is no publisher

So you cannot run distribution service.

It will get activated once you have publisher licence installed.

but as far as i know

SBM does not support Publisher

there is a QDS installed even without a publisher license.

about this error my guess would be that there is some mismatch with what version of .net framework you got installed. maybe a missing service pack for the framework or something similar.

I have all the right service packs and the right framework so this is not the problem..

I hope somebody has the solution!

try running (as administrator) lodctr /r at the command prompt and then start the QDS service. check this url for more information: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd363694(WS.10).aspx

Excelente.

The lodctr /r thing worked for me. Now I can start the Distribution Service. Thanks for the tip.

But now I have another issue, when I'm trying to apply the license I receive the message: Server is Down.

Trying to install QV Server 10 SR1

The user is part of the Administrators group, as well as the QlikView Administratrors group. NET framework 3.5 SP 1 installed.

Any idea why this is happening?

Worked for me ! Upgraded QV11 IR Build 11154 to SR1 Build 11271. On Windows 2008 standard x64
