I use "machine name" for indentification and allow dynamic CAL assignment,
when client access server by accesspoint, the server will assigned user automatic
User is "Machine Name + MAC adrress" such as "SUPADA-PC [00-FF-E0-65-70-88]"

But some client is assigned is "{6A8EBA07-D948-4808-92CC-E6BEA4FAB1C9}@10.219.66.177"
and that client access again the server assigned new user is "{9D035F8A-F8D5-4A92-81CC-60FD27AB70E1}@10.219.66.177"

I would like to know why server not assign user is Machine Name + MAC address

I user Qlikview server 9

please suggest me.

most likely because it is not able to obtain the mac-address / machine-name. this could because any number of reasons.

Maybe because that client is using Ajax (Ajax can't get the MAC adrdres and so it's using a long term cookie stored in the browser so if your user is using 2 browsers or if the cookie is erased, then he will use 2 CALs)

Client open with AJAX so server can't get MAC Address. I change to IE Plugin , It's work server can get MAC Address.

I want to use machine cal on server and it register [MACHINE NAME]@[IP ADDRESS] OR simply [MACHINE NAME]@ .

please tell me why?

I use only qv 9 SR3 .. please help
