Hi,

In my fact table i have the data in the following format.

FactTable:

Account_id,Geography_sid,Channel_id,Market_id,Product_id,Week_end_date,Units

My allignment has the following hierarchy:

Region--->District---->Territory

Now i have some duplicate values where one Account_id is present in two geography Geography_sid for the same Week_end_date date with same values for Units.

Now when i sum the values at territory level i get distinct values in my straight table.But as i drill up the hierarchy for example if i show the sum of units at District level then it adds the duplicate values also.

How do i take care of this duplicate values such that when i drill up the hierarchy it sums up the distinct values only.
