EDX Trigger Reload trigger by external Event. Where to get taskname or taskid

Hallo,

i'm using Qlikview 9 SR3 with the simple Publisher.

With the Management Console, i can set options to relaod the report triggering through an external event.

Therefor i can define the password at the RELOAD page for each document.

But, where can i see or define the taskname or taskid of each document ?

On the page, where all tasks are listes, i didn't find it.

Please help.

Hi Noob,

Go to QlikView Console Management, and what you are looking is called "Task Name" (Status tab).

You have to pass this parameter in order to launch the reload task.

Thx, it works.

But now, i have the next problem:

If it set a password, i will get the Answer "… Error. Could not trigger task. Bad password …".

But if i don't use a password; pasword field emty; it works.

any idea ?

Hi,

I suggest not to use the password option.

Probably QlikTech hasn't programmed this option in standard Publisher, like the situation with variable passing througt the EDX task.

You can try to contact QlikView support.
