Currently we are using Named CAL's spread over 9 companies, we are now looking to transfer these Named CAL's to Machine CAL's.

All 9 companies have different setups, it goes from citrix infrastructure, terminal server infrastructure to dedicated machines.
There's not much reference material to find how Qlikview works on an Citrix based setup and with Machine CAL's, the same for Terminal server.

Can someone try to explain me how this works? A dedicated machine has an FQDN that can be used, but within Citrix how do you identify a Machine?

Isn't it a better option to use Named CAL's and to create generic users?

Qlikview 9 in use
