    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Using the 8.5 version , I was able to pass a parameter in the URL to set a variable in my application.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am upgrading to the versin 9 and I do not succeed in doing the same thing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is the URL I am using&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://xxxxxx.com/QvAJAXZfc/AccessPoint.aspx?open=&amp;amp;id=QVS@MACHINE%7Cdata/xxxx/Setup_Viewer.qvw&amp;amp;client=Plugin&amp;amp;Viewer=Lieu" target="_blank"&gt;http://xxxxxx.com/QvAJAXZfc/AccessPoint.aspx?open=&amp;amp;id=QVS@MACHINE%7Cdata/xxxx/Setup_Viewer.qvw&amp;amp;client=Plugin&amp;amp;Viewer=Lieu&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there anything wrong in it or is there an other wayr to do the same thing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Philippe&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Philippe,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As far as I know, the only parameters that can be passed through the Plugin URL are: USERID, XUSERID, PASSWORD, XPASSWORD, and MACRO. I don't think you can pass a variable anymore in version 9.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;From Page 185-186 of QVS Reference manual of v9 it shows parameters should be possible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;May be you want to try qvp:// instead of http:// and see if that works for you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let us know.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
