What is this setting for? I see nothing in the forums, nothing on a web search, and nothing in QlikView Desktop help. It doesn't appear to actually change anything in the layout when designing an application with Desktop.

Forgot to mention - it's in menu Settings, Document Properties, General. At the bottom of the dialog.

The setting works for me if I close and then reopen the document after changing the setting.

The AJAX mode uses the layout dialogs that are used for creating Server Collaboration objects in the AJAX client. In addition to a different look and feel, you also get some new features like:

- multiple Properties sheets open
- drag and drop properties between objects.

-Rob

I didn't think to close and reopen the document. It looks exactly like AJAX! Thanks Rob.
