QlickView HTTP service wont start

hello all -

The qlikview "QlikView Http Service" will not start. the client is running ver 8.50.6091.4. I havent found anything in the config.xml log.

what steps can i take to figure out whty the service isnt starting. also there have been no system changes made that i am aware of.

Check Windows Event Viewer under Services and see what errors you get from this service.

Try going into the server properties and changing the "Log On" account. By default, this should be Local System Account. If this has changed, set it back to default and see if that fixes it. Otherwise, try creating an administrator account, allowing it to logon as a service, and using that as the logon account. But first, if you have not already done so, reboot your server since we're dealing with Windows after all.
