I'm getting the error below when I attempt to add a user to a distribution task

What can I do to address this?

I'm guessing you checked to ensure the user is not already in the distribution task. Would it be too difficult to just recreate the distribution task in a new one? When I get strange exceptions like this, whether in a QV Enterprise chart or Publisher task, it seems that creating a new one/starting over usually helps.

Thanks Jen,

These users would be new users. I'd agree - I'll likely need to create a new distribution task to replace this one. I was trying to avoid doing this because I have so many folks on this particular distro task.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but if I had a large number of users, I would use groups and then assign the group to the task. That way when you want to add/remove users you could just do it at the group level and not the task level.

I'd agree, unfortunately my ActiveDirectory IT support is not on the same page.
