When I press the Export To Excel button in IE a popup is opened and immediately closed. Upon closer inspection the problem appears to be that the popup is opened just before the file is created. 1 second later the file exists and I can open it just fine, even from IE (by writing the full path in the address bar). When I press the Export To Excel button in Firefox it works just fine, I get a popup asking me to download the excel file. Is there a way to slightly delay the popup? It would seem that if the popup waited just 1 second I would get the correct result.
