Upgrade QlikView and NPrinting to the May 2022 release

Hello qlik experts!!

I am planning a migration of QlikView directly from 12.30 (November 2018) to 12.70. I am also planning a migration of NPrinting from 19.00.30 (February 2019) to the latest version of May 2022.

Can you confirm that I can make the QlikView migration directly from 12.30 to 12.70, without going through an intermediate version? Is there any particular restriction to know ?

Same question for NPrinting 19.00.30 (February 2019) which i need to migrate to the May 2022 version ?

Yes you can upgrade QlikView Server/Publisher directly from v12.30 to v12.70 and Qlik NPrinting v19.00.3 to v22.15.5 without any intermediate versions. See the Qlik online Help entries for upgrading QlikView and NPrinting:

My client needs to be reassured about the migration. Can you tell me if Qlik have any feedback from customers where upgrading from 4 versions to the current one would have caused problems?

Do you have known problems encountered by other customers ?

Each environment is different, with different source repositories and different dashboard complexities. So, suggest that you start by reviewing all of the Release Notes for 12.70 and the versions in between 12.30 and 12.70; as well as perform an upgrade in a test environment first before a production environment, so that you can address any potential issues.
