Upgrade QV11 to QV12

Dear all,

we currently have release 11.0.11440.0 and would like to upgrade to the latest version 12.70.

Is this possible or do we still have to plan to install an intermediate version? What else is there to consider?

@LANGE2 You would need to upgrade to an intermediate version 11.20 first. Then upgrade to 12.7. Please see the attached document for other things to consider when upgrading QlikView.

@LANGE2 Another consideration is to obtain a Test license from your Account Manager if you want both versions of Qlikview to run at the same time as you test and compare between the two environments.

Hi,

Jill and Lucas are correct. You will find that some of the ways that your Application now looks and run will change. There has been a log of changes since version 11 and you will need to test every QVW for appearance and to make sure that the data script still works.
