      <title>Unable to Install QlikView Desktop on Windows 11</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there, I'm having trouble deploying QlikView Desktop on Windows 11. I tried both with the last release (May 2021) and with an older one, the one a had on the system when upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11 (November 2017 SR7).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The result is this&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Try the following 3 steps:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Launch the installation.exe file, but don't proceed with the installation&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;While .exe is still up, open Windows File Explorer and navigate to %Users%\&amp;lt;YourUserName&amp;gt;\AppData\Local\Temp\&amp;lt;HexFolderName&amp;gt; (see below example taken from my computer&lt;BR /&gt;C:\Users\wmy.QTSEL.000.001.002\AppData\Local\Temp\{7AADB239-62BF-463F-B661-DE715F3991C0}&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Find QlikViewDesktop_x64Setup.exe and run this executable&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please report back on the results.&lt;/P&gt;

Basically&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qlik.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/13651"&gt;@Chip_Matejowsky&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;gave me the right direction, but the last instruction was wrong: the file to be executed is not the .exe we find the the temporary folder, but the MSI !&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In practice, follow this &lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/QlikView-Desktop-installer-fails-with-The-Windows-Installer-Is/ta-p/1836856" target="_self"&gt;article.&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
