      <title>performance issue in currency conversion</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i want to know which is the best approach for currency conversion in our dashboard. All datas are in local currency, Need to show the data in local currency as well as in USD using a filter. I;m multiplying the currency values with the data on the fly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is it right approach for the currency conversion or multi currency in the dashboard? we have more than 3 million records in the fact table.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;find the attached application which is sample of our model (not exact replica).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please give an better alternate interms of performance. thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Qlik should handle this, are you getting specific performance issues?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it works, leave it, if its slow then calculate in the script, just add a column for each currency, although I assume you'll need to recalculate these columns on a regular basis?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
