topic Month to Date in QlikView

Good day,

I have a calendar that contains a working day number, so if the date is 12 May 2012 the day number is 8. The previous month day 8 is the 14 May 2012. all this is fine, the issue I have is that with no selections I want ot display the max day number, which is 8 and based on this value coount the sales for last month up to the 8th day.

Thank you in advance

Kamiel

Good day all,

I do apologise if the above post was unclear. I have resolved the issue, but let me be a bit more clear.I have created a calendar as normal which excludes public holidays. I then created a column NetworkDays(Monthstart(Date),Date,vPublicHolidays). This gives me the working day number for the month 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 etc. when it is a Saturday and Sunday the day number rolls back to the Fridays day number. Did this because there is work done on some weekends. So, the day number is not necesarily Day(Date). The reason behind this is that I wanted to compare the the same working days for the the current month to the previous month. Example today is the 15/05/2012 and the day number is 10 last month the 10th working day was 17/04/2012. Prior to solving the issue I was not getting the correct figure for the day number of the previous month. Found a script Point in Time Reporting and used the variable section and adapted it to my calendar. Attached is the Calendar.

Message was edited by: kamielrajaram
