The QlikView Server could not be contacted

Hi, my qlikview server is down.

The version is 11.20.12129.0 is runing in windows 2008 server.

I review the service and it cant start, i have the error: Winodws could not start the qlikview server service on local computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in timely fashion.

I try to enter my license and i cant, i unistall and install again and nothing.

Any one can help me please.

Are the other services running fine? Have you tried to reenter the credentials for the account that the service is running under?

Hi,

Has it ever worked? If so, if the QVS can't get to the root folder it will not start. Also, the service account has to have administrator rights on the local machine.

i think the problem was with net framework, we update another app whit framework, in diferent language.

After that qv fail. but i need the other app, then i separete the servers to do saas.
