Hi,

Can anybody please tell me what's the difference between OMIT and OMITFIELD options in QlikView security?

I have never come across OMITFIELD.

Where did you come across it?

AFAIK in Qlikview there is a OMIT for omit fields

OMIT

A field that should contain the field that should be omitted for this specific user. Wildcards may be used and the field may be empty. A facile way of doing this is to use a subfield.

Note!
You should not apply OMIT on key fields, as this will change the underlying data structure. This may create logical islands and calculation inconsistencies.

Yes, there are possible wrong answers, but since 'What's the difference beween OMIT and OMITFIELD' is the question, not the answer, it would be interesting to see the possible answers.

Since I understood these are sample questions, could you post the complete Question / Possible answers, Michael?
