Change Parameter in QMC as a default

Hello all experts,

Does anyone know how to change the the flag to Disable?

I have more then 500 models in my publisher.

Just tick the checkbox.

Or do you want to disable this checkbox for 500 documents in one action?

Doh, this settings is stored in the .Meta file of every document (500 meta files). No way to change that in a simple way. The QMS API may provide a solution path, but I can't help you with that.

Does the User documents have matching Source Documents with Distributions tasks? Then the correct place to change this value is on the task. The User Document value will be update after the task has run.

QMC:

When editing the task, go to tab Server / Performance. Located under section Sessions.

QVPR:

DocumentTask.xml, field EnableAuditLogging

Distribution Service Task definition:

Tag SourceDocument, property EnableAuditLogging

I change the source but its not passed to the childrens...

I found the xml you talked about. i have more then 500 of it... do you know any script that fix all of them?

Ariel,

After you change then task property and run the task to distribute it to QVS, you state it is not updating the value under User document? That's sounds strange to me. Works fine here.

Base if the above is working:

You need to change the value for each task and run them. No supported way to do this mass change. However, you could stop the Management service (QMS), modify each record in the QVPR, restart QMS, and wait a minute for the updates to reach Distribution Service and run all tasks.

NOTE! This is not something Qlik would support.
