document not showing for named user

Hello,

My QV server is DMS authorization and I have created a new user on the windows server and then gone to Qlikview Management Console clicked on documents tab, selected my QV file and then on authorization tab and added my new user as a named user.

The problem is that when the user logs in they dont see the qlikview file that they have been added to via the console?

Any ideas?

Hi,

What type of authentication are used in your environment?

Is it Active Directory or Section Access?

Does the user have NFTS permissions to the qvw ?

Hello,

thanks for replies.

I have resolved.

The document has section access and I forgot to change their username within it to the user that I created on the server.

I didn't realize the qlikview server looks into the file regarding authentication also.
