Slow Document - 12 million rows

Hi,

I have a document with 12 million rows, 3 columns. Extracted from a optimized QVD.

I have two list boxes and one pivot with a count of id's in the document.

It takes about a minute to make one selection. I find this extremly slow.

Any ideas on how I can improve this.

How long is your register, i think you have another problem with your data. Actually I manipulate much more than this and is really quick.

Maybe Henric or someone from Qlik can help you check your data.

Could be hard aware to? how much RAM do you have?

Also what is the data model like?

Only one table is beeing loaded?
Is your RAM size enough?
Are you using a plain field or an expression into your listbox?

Count of id's?

Try This

LOAD

Field1,

Field2,

Field3,

'1' as Counter

FROM YourSource;

And in the pivot table change the expression for Sum(Counter), the function sum takes less time to execute
