Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to pass an xpassword as a parameter in a launch action? Can I pass the QV credentials to the script (so the script can generate a secure database connection string)? For example, suppose I wanted Qlikview to launch a Python Script:

I know I can pass the login and xpassword parameter (as text)... but can I either 1) pass it unscrambled ... for Python to generate its own connection string? [Or use a function such that Python uses the scrambled xpassword?]

- jrd
