When using IIS, is QVWS started ?

Hello,

I have always used QVWS for my Qlikview server.

For a new server, we want to use IIS. But the question is : if i use IIS, should i still start the QVWS Service or should i stop it completely ?

And if I stop it, how can i handle the Header authentification that is configured in the QVWS section of the server settings ?

The QlikView Web Service should not be running, but the QlikView Settings Service should be running,

Hi,

If its old server, then I would recommend it to stop completely.

If you are going with fresh instillation, then Install with IIS web server.

What is the Qlikview Settings Service ? it appears under this name in Services ?

ok but if i stop it completely, where will I be able to configure the authentification with Header ?
