Hello folks.

One of our users is experiencing a weird situation with a QV document. If he points his browser to the Access Point homepage which looks like:

https://servername/

it's completely empty with no documents shown. However, if another user (who is able to access the same document correctly) sends him the QVS-generated URL which looks like:

https://servername/QvAJAXZfc/opendoc.htm?document=documentname.qvw&host=QVS%40localhost

then he is able to use the document without issues. This is strange because it suggests both users are correctly authorized to see the document but only the first one is shown an empty homepage. Any thoughts?

Kind regards,

Ernesto.

Within the active directory it's possible to lock a folder but give access-rights to subfolder from them. Then you couldn't browse through the file-system but a direct-link would work. And by using NT as qv authentication the same logic will be applied. Therefore check the access rights within the active directory - maybe the user isn't a member from a certain user-group ...

- Marcus
