Preload option unchecked by itself

Hi,

I already ticked the preload option, but it will untick by itself, anyone encounter the same issue? Any solution?

This is a confirmed bug and fixed recently. It will be released in SR11

Hi,

This item is stored in the .meta file. If this file is deleted or if you are checking it under user documents and then do a reload it will reset. You need to set the preload up in the reload task.

You mean have to set in source document instead of user document? But I can't find any option in Source document.

Once you have added a Distribution to QlikView Server, the settings will be visible under tab Server, subtab Performance, section Document Control.

Why would it be released in SR 11?? Y not in SR 10 as the current version is SR 9

This is due to our release process. This bug was fixed the other week and at this point the SR10 release was moved into Beta stage. We do not modify the source code at this stage unless critical problems has been detected, this to insure a stable product. Downside to this is that it takes some time to get fixed bugs into the product but we hope you users prefers a stable product more than having quick fixes.

There is an alternative solution if this bugfix is critical for your enviroment. You can request a patch via Support.

Hey Magnus,

Thank-you for the quick response. Could you please let me know on which SR this bug was identified. As we are using SR 2 and would be upgrading to SR 8 this weekend.

We are using preload aggressively and this bug might screw-up everything.

If you have the source Document tab, you should have it if there is a task created for the QVW.
