Hi,

I have an application deployed in the publisher with the loop and reduce applied on it, But i see an error stating

(2014-05-20 11:25:18) Error: Failed to generate QVW files.. Exception=System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'filelocation\filename.qvw' because it is being used by another process.

Can anyone please let me know how the above error could be resolved

Chec if the particular qvw is opened or is being used by any user...

If so kill tht process and re run your reload.

The issue will be resolved.

Hi Nitin,

I have ensured that the qvw is not running but still I am getting this error

Hi.

Why don't you restart you server and give it a second chance.

Is your server hosted on SAN. Permission could be one the reason as you get I/O errors.

make sure you have proper access rights.

Is 'Always One Selected Value' enabled in any listbox of the application? If so, try removing that.

Hi,

This can be caused by anti-virus software or backup software. I would try to rebooting the server and see if that will clear it.
