The data structure is simple, an inpatient table and an emergency department table linked through a link table by account.</P><P></P><P>I created several charts for both inpatients and emergency department tabs/sheets; however, my emergency department sheet runs extremely slow. One of the issue that I found through google is that I used count(distinct) function because the emergency table has duplicate account to account for cycle time of each individual process step. I modified my data table to be able to use sum(). But QV still runs slowly.</P><P></P><P>I have developed 2 dashboards using QV before and have never seen such a issue. Does anyone have similar experience and would like to share your resolutions?
