Enabling Https link for Qlikview Accesspoint

Hi All,

Qlikview application by default running on Http.

http://localhost/qlikview

We are planning for a Reverse proxy for the accesspoint link. as https.

Can anyone please advise since the application is running only on port 80 not on 443.

For enabling Https the application should run on 443 port.

Please help me on enabing Https Link for Accesspoint

Hi,

This would be a function of the Webserver. You will need to set that up for SSL and 443 and they the accesspoint will run on SSL.

You'll need to us IIS as your QlikView webserver to configure the certificates with your CA. You cannot configure certificates using QVWS (standard install).

There are utilites out that that will help you create the the CSR file. You don't have to use IIS anymore. One of the ones I use is Digicert. DigiCert® Certificate Utility for Windows
