Hi Michael,

You can use windows authentication very well as already suggested.

Otherwise you can also create a user group and restrict the distribution of file to particular group or even only to few users, but for doing this you need a publisher.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

We've recently setup Qlikview here and developed our first App. We pushed it to the access point and labelled it as 'Marketing' in the management console so that we can build up a suite of apps for the marketing teams.

We also went to push the governance dashboard, but couldn't seem to find a straight forward way of hiding this app from the marketing users.

How do I go about this? what is the best practice for managing this scenario?

Thanks

Michael

Hi,

you could use windows authentication on folders: so you could create a Marketing folder and give access to marketing users, Governance folder and so on.
