      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've got QlikView server for Windows server 2012&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've setup the SMTP mail server in management console and the test email was sent successfully&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now I added an alert to send email whenever a task fails; however this is not working&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any idea why?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please advise&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Login to QMC as System Admin&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Go to System tab &amp;gt; Setup&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Expand Distribution Services . Select Server Name/Host&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. On the right panel go to Alert E-mail tab&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. Provide Email ID and click Apply&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
