QEMC: Help with "Unhandled error"

Hi,

I keep getting the following error

"An unhandled error occurred: The requested name is valid but no data of requested type found"

when I try to change settings on the QEMC, in QV Server 10 SR 6. I have the local admin privileges on the machine on which the server is installed.

I'm trying to enable the unsafe macros on the sever side.

Any windows update was done?

I'm not quite aware of it. however, this error came up after upgrading to SR6 from SR4.

Is it possible to do a new re-install?

Please remove QlikView Server and then install 10SR6 again.

Could you upgrade to version 11.20?

upgrade to version 11.20 is in testing.

I'll ask the administrator to re-install the server.

I would to a windows server reinstall, apply all windows updates and install again QVS

A whole weekend job

If you re-install, it is likely that it will back online, but you won't know the source of the issue.
