EMail Notifications

I need to notifiy users that QVW's have been updated. Management wants me to include a link to the QVW through AccessPoints. Has anyone done this? If so, maybe a little help would be nice.

Hi,

Publisher will allow you to send emails to users when the QVW has been updated. On the link, I am not sure what you are asking here. AccessPoint will show the QVW that a users has rights to.

Thanks for responding Bill. What I would like to be able to do after the QVW has been published send an email to anyone who has access to it with a link to AccessPoints and the QVW. From what I have read you can do this through the different Email Templates however I am not a HTML kind of person.

There is already a template for that. So, I would think you are good to go.

Publisher will not however notify when a document has been reloaded, only if the task will reload AND be distributed.

So if the task will only reload, you wont get a notification.

This can be set up in the application alertmail.
