Qlikview server 11 SR1: All services are down

Hi Everyone,

I have installed qlikview server many times but everytime I am getting same message i.e. All services are down. My all 5 Qlikview Services are running and I also restarted all but still facing same problem. I am also attaching the screen shot of that. Please provide me any solution.

Instead of PC name try giving IP address in the configuration.

Hi Nirav,

Have you checked that the services are running under a username with sufficient priviledge.

I have not been able to reproduce it, but I have heard that QEMC doesn't like "-" dashes in the name.

I havent changed anything, previously it was working fine with the same name.Now what should I do, Kindly guide me.

Nirav, can you login with the user running the services and try to access the other services URLs? Like http://-pc:4720/qtxs.asmx

If you get prompted for username and password please add the server to the intranet zone in the IE settings.

I would also see if you can ping -pc to make sure the name is register correctly in DNS.

Hi all,

Thanks for your post, Now only Qlikview Distrubution Service startup Down (DSC). Any Idea why its not working.

Previously because of server name changed its showing the All services are down message.

Hi Bill Britt,

I am having a problem with the services of QlikView Server 11 SR1. I've successful installed QlikView Server 11 SR1 and apply the license again but DSC services is not running. What can be wrong? Please guide me.

This can be caused by a couple of things. The account that is running this needs to be a member of the Administrator group on the local machine. It most have "logon as Batch job" & "logon as a Service" rights under policies. The user also most be able to read the AD.

They are local security policies. Need to check with your IT team and they should be able to help.
