topic Management console access denied in QlikView

Management console access denied

Hi all,

I am not able to access the managament console from the server (http://localhost:4780/qmc/default.htm) I get the following error message

Access Denied

Membership of local security groups is missing.

Please refer to the manual for more information

I am able to access it from local machine(http://servername:4780/qmc/default.htm).

Can you please help me to solve this issue.

Does your windows account is member of the QlikView administrator group ?

yes. I am able to open it outside of server, But in the server if I click on the management console it gives the above error message

Check your browser security settings.

Try to replace "localhost" by your server IP in the URL.

if I replace it with IP its working. Can you please tell me the reason why it is not working with localhost and is there a way to get it working with localhost?

Sorry. I don't know the exact reason. I just know that it is because of security settings.
