We have a lot of QlikView documents and a lot of users.

Al users have CALs assigned to them. Some Named but also a lot of Document CALs.

Is there an easy way to get an overview of the assigned Document CALs?? Now we have to walk through all the User Document settings to see the assignements.

Take a look at the power tools, it's pretty easy to export all assigned licenses to a csv file and then read them in a QVW application.

You can find them here http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-3059

I know those tools exist, but problem is that we can not use them at this moment.

We don;t have enough permission on the QlikView server to use these applications.

rgrds Anita

You don't need to use them on the server, you can use them remotely.

You could also use the QMS API directly (that's what the power tool uses), you would need a user that is a member of the QlikView Management API.
