      <title>Xeon E5440 performance issues</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We;re currently running our server on a XEON E5440. Now I know that I should disable hyperthreading.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'd just like to verify, as the specs seem to say that this processor does not use hyperthreading.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN lang="NL" style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;"&gt;&lt;A href="http://ark.intel.com/products/33082/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5440-%2812M-Cache-2_83-GHz-1333-MHz-FSB%29" target="_blank"&gt;http://ark.intel.com/products/33082/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5440-%2812M-Cache-2_83-GHz-1333-MHz-FSB%29&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are there any other considerations for me?
