Hi, the problem is not related with the mail Server of Qlikview Server. You problem is related with your Mail Client installed (if you have it installed and well configurated, Outlook for example)

Hi

I am trying to use QV11SR1 session sharing for the first time. The mail server has been correctly configured on the server - test messages work fine. However when I try clicking the 15 minute Share Session "Email this link" I see

"Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed".

Do I need to install Windows Mail ? I don't think that this is done as standard in Windows2008.

Thanks

FYI Apparently this is the case - client is needed. I have been advised just to copy the link from the server to my local machine where I have Outlook.
