Does anyone know how to configure QV Server 10 to create a guest account which users can access applicaitons on Access Point by using Username: Guest Password: Guest?

Hi,

You can try this out.

On server. Right click My Computer --> Manage --> to create a user as Guest.

Add the Qlikview Administrator group to it.

Right click on the Mounted folder and give access to Guest user (if required).

Now try the access point with Guest as User.

Hi,

You can enable the anonymous access to the server if your license allows you to. But for the SBE and EE licenses, any user license is assigned to an actual user in the security directory (Windows Active Directory for example).

In any case, you can create a new user in the security directory, give the appropriate permissions on the files and folders (no need to add it to the local QlikView Administrators group since this group is used to manage the server using the Consoles) and give that username and password to the users.

Only one user can access at a time, though, (except for the IAS license should you are using it).
