Hello again,

I got the following error on one of my reloads today:

(2011-06-30 06:00:27) Error: The sourcedocument failed to reload.. Exception=System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800706BE): The remote procedure call failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BE)

(2011-06-30 06:00:27) Error: at QlikView.Doc.DoReload(Int32 _Mode, Boolean _Partial, Boolean _Debug)

(2011-06-30 06:00:27) Error: at QVBWrapper.Document.Reload(ILogBucket i_LogBucket, Boolean i_MonitorQVBCPUUsage, Boolean i_Partial, Boolean i_ReadDocumentLog)

upgrade to QlikView 10 SR3 to get rid of this issue

Daniel is right, this is linked to a bug, #38328, which has been fixed for SR3 (available now on the download site).

Is there a set of release notes for QlikView 10 SR3 ? Also ... I am having trouble locating the bug #38328 ...

The release notes just contain the title of the bug

37032 Publisher tasks fail intermittently with COM Exception errors (the remote procedure call failed)

Is there a way to get a more detailed description of the bug?

Maybe not fixed in SR3 - we upgraded but still getting this error.

We appear to be having the same issue. Was there any fix that made this issue go away?
