We are looking at going the Document CAL route, but I was wondering about versioning of documents.

Scenario:

We have a single document that gets changed, replaces the old document on the server and has the same file name.

Question:

When users start utiliizing that document will they eat up document CALs?

Thanks!

As long as the filenames are identical, this won't affect your CAL count. We do this all the time.
