I have a problem when trying to open a document with IE Plugin. The following error is displayed.

I have no problem opening documents with AJAX.

Have a look at the Qlikview Server Reference Manual. See the part about Security Set-up and use with IIS. (pag. 190 - +++)

You can find the QVS RM on the server in : Program files \ qlikview \ documentation

It may also be a problem with NTFS permission of the file on the server. Your screenshot shows you're using a tunnel, is it properly working with other users?

All users accessing the documents remotely have problem with IE Plugin , however AJAX is fine.

is the use of tunneling normal (I mean did you explicitly setup the tunnel)?

The IE plugin automatically tries to connect with the tunnel if the qvp port (4747) is blocked, so maybe this port is blocked and the plugin fails because the tunnel is not properly configured.

What is this website if it is not running with IIS? What happens if you connect to http://80.35.35.105:4750/ with a web browser?

What happens if you try to open your server document from QlikView Desktop?

I'm sorry - we do use IIS.

I can open the documents from the access point with IE Plugin in the server, but when anyone tries to do the same on their machine it's showing the error I posted at the beginning of the post. The ports 4750,4747 are open on the server.

Any suggestions how to fix the tunneling.

try to reduce the webserver logging to "low", it seems that the Webserver is busy by logging - so the security handshake timeout.

Hi,

The sceen shot you've send sows that you are using sort of qdeployer. Try to re install the QlikView Plugin.. further just add the address your qdeployer or rather the address of your qvw file to trusted sites to the brwser you are using. At times it lso happens that you might have notbeen given the rights by QlikView admin.

So try out the above.
